Description
New Product Development (NPD) Project:
EPIV & PICV Commissioning Set Range Design & Render
Belimo is a world-renowned international group of companies that develops, produces and markets actuators for use across multiple sectors. Because of our Team’s prior experience with Hydronic assembly design, Belimo approached us to produce a range of EPIV (Electronic Pressure Independent Valve) and PICV (Pressure Independent Control Valve) Commissioning Set assembly & production drawings.
These products were intended for sale the UK and European markets and it was of the highest importance that the assemblies use preferred supplier components while cost effectively integrating with Belimo’s own Control Valves. This project required us to coordinate with the preferred Hydronics suppliers for access to relevant 3D CAD files. Where CAD files were not available, we obtained the components; measured them and produced the necessary models.
The outcome of this project was the delivery of a set of assembly drawings for production use, relevant BOMs (Bill of Materials) and a promotional render of one of the products.
